**Inventory and Stock Controller**

**Location: Birmingham**

**Salary: up to £25,000 depending on Experience**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Proactively manage stock levels in the SCC stock control system, aligning actual to system data.
- Drive and ensure a Perpetual Inventory Process is enacted in the SCC National Distribution Centre and, if required, support for Service Stores and satellite stores / sites throughout the UK.
- Audit stock and report results. Modify and update the stock control systems (CS3 and Despatcher). Also to keep the management team updated.
- Investigate stock variances in both the warehouse system (Despatcher) and the Order management system (CS3). Make corrections and updates in both systems where relevant and appropriate - Ascertaining wider team support and approval first as required.
- Support activity relating to conducting Environmental Awareness, Manual Handling, CoSHH, Spillage and Site Induction training sessions

**Key Skills / Experience**
- Good understanding of IT equipment is an advantage
- Knowledge of how to mange and get the best out of stock management systems is an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Experience of a computerised stock control system.
- Must be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels
