The Purchasing Manager will have overall accountability of the warehouses and its inventory. You will ensure the Stock Controller, Buyer, and Despatch teams meet the required company objectives and ensure accuracy of the stock values. You will have fullcontrol of implementing purchasing strategies to meet your key objectives
**Key Annual Objectives**:

- Reduce total stock value held on site
- Reduce stock days
- Improve purchased stock accuracy

**Key Accountabilities**
- Ensuring sufficient stock is onsite to meet production demand
- Stock cycle count and stock analysis
- Stock valuation reporting
- Purchase order management and MRP
- Sales contract review

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Supplier delivery performance management
- Developing purchasing strategy
- Building and managing supplier relationships
- Managing the Stores and Despatch team.

**Skills and experience required**
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and ideally ISO13485
- Minimum CIPS level 3 advanced certificate
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills (office, spreadsheets, device software)
- Ideally experience working in a heavily regulated industry
- You should be a motivated & results orientated team player who can also work on your own initiative, with excellent problem solving & decision-making skills
- Full driving licence and ability to travel to supplier sites
