**WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?**

We have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced governance officer, looking for their next challenge at a senior level. You will help the group prevent fraud and avoid potential liabilities. Your experience will allow you to manage organisational risks and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

You will support the Group to achieve excellence in governance by managing and overseeing the governance administration function within the Group, ensuring the Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) and Trustees receive effective guidance and advice in the fulfilment of their duties.

You will assist the Executive Director Governance ensuring high quality governance board and committee reports are produced, working closely with the governance officer.

**WHAT WILL THE RIGHT PERSON LOOK LIKE?**

For this key role, we’re looking for someone who is highly organised, with excellent written and oral communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You are likely to possess some secretarial experience, including minute taking, action logging and managing papers. You will also have a track record that demonstrates your exceptional organisational skills and your commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Being able to demonstrate previous company secretarial experience and knowledge of housing governance is essential as you will be working in a regulated environment with Boards and Committees within this role.
