**Payroll Officer**

**Pay**:Salary £25,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience) pro rata

**Job Type**: Permanent, Part Time

**Shift and Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, 20 hours per week

**The key, responsibilities for the role include**:

- Manage payroll and deal with any queries in a timely fashion, including amendments to salaries and employee data.
- Processing employee expenses.
- Reconciliation of payroll information.
- Management of credit cards and petty cash for the homes on a weekly basis.
- Accurate inputting and processing of purchase and sales invoices and other financial information into the accounting software.
- Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, including filing and record keeping.
- Experience of SAGE 50 Payroll and MS office is essential.
- Outgoing and able to support non finance members of the team proactively.
- Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, good judgment and a strong work ethic.

**Qualification/Training/ Competencies**
- A good general level of education
- GCSE equivalent in English and Maths
- Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA etc.) would be desirable.
- Understanding of accounting principles and current financial legislation.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
