Job Description

We are seeking an experienced care administrator to join our team in Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in administration at a care home setting.

The role is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the care home and meeting deadlines on financial procedures and information returns.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective administrative systems within the care home, including payroll, petty cash, and purchase ledger.
  2. Support business development by administering various tasks such as financial assistance, monitoring, quality, training, and health and safety adherence.
  3. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and staff to ensure high-quality service provision.
  4. Handle customer enquiries and provide information about Restful Homes Group services.
Administrative Tasks
  1. Coordinate daily administration of the care home, ensuring procedures operate effectively and in a timely manner.
  2. Process payroll hours on a weekly basis, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines for monthly payroll runs.
  3. Maintain accurate records, including staff sickness, absences, and holiday.
  4. Manage petty cash and reconcile monthly statements.
  5. Send all invoices to head office in a timely manner and maintain purchase ledger.
  6. Responsible for stock of stationery and ensuring invoicing is completed within deadlines.
  7. Chase outstanding fees from local authorities, CCGs, and individuals.
  8. Responsible for distributing Resident's Personal Allowance and keeping accurate records and receipts.
  9. Report admissions and discharges to Head Office.
