**About the Role**:
In the role of **Online Content and Merchandising Executive for Thorntons**, you will spearhead the strategic planning and operational implementation of product, promotion, point-of-sale, and content merchandising across D2C websites and associated channels. Collaborating closely with marketing, insights, operational, fulfilment, and customer care teams, you will work towards achieving both commercial and consumer objectives. Your responsibilities include overseeing the execution of digital campaigns in adherence to 'perfect store' principles, managing content, assets, and product information, and supporting the end-to-end process for their development. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in creating an immersive shopping experience that seamlessly integrates content and commerce.

**Main Responsibilities**:
In the realm of merchandising services coordination, the focus lies on defining a strategic approach to digital visual merchandising and point-of-sale (POS). Consistent verification of the allocated budget for D2C merchandising services is paramount, with an emphasis on allocating this budget across diverse sales lines, expecting the involvement of dedicated personnel in merchandising activities. The goal is to maximize commercial performance through intelligent merchandising strategies. Ongoing reviews of the quality of merchandising services provided by third parties are conducted, with plans for corrective action when required. This includes coordinating contract drafting activities with the Merchandise Agency and Procurement, along with monthly meetings with key stakeholders to share information and enhance service levels.

In the realm of D2C projects and campaigns Thorntons, the objective is to align customer-focused campaigns and define D2C requirements for successful implementation. This involves supervising the creation of campaigns in collaboration with Marketing, presenting identified solutions to the D2C team and agencies. The process includes leading the briefing of digital assets and launching digital campaigns with adherence to 'Perfect store' principles. Support is provided for Campaign CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and CX (Customer Experience) personalisation.

Regarding the coordination of personnel formation within the agency, continuous supervision ensures proper Point of Sales service. This involves following the established strategy and delivering against key metrics. Verification of product availability, proper website placement, visibility of prices, and correct positioning of digital materials is conducted. Collaboration with Digital trading is essential to understand key sales metrics for optimal product placement. All activities are executed to ensure Point Of Sales Quality targets, with a special focus on promotions, action plans, secondary placements, and out-of-stock scenarios. Building and maintaining constructive relationships with key stakeholders is an integral part of this coordination effort
