Town Planner

We have a current opportunity for a Town Planner to join an established and rapidly expanding mobile telecommunications provider on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role with the office based in Surrey.
**Town Planner Role**:
- Creating innovative and unique planning solutions that satisfy both clients and local authorities.
- Conducting research and evaluations of sites to identify planning challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborating closely with acquisition specialists and designers to support the selection and advancement of the best site location and design choices to meet client requirements.
- Offering guidance to engineers and surveyors on the positioning and appearance of telecoms installations during site visits.
- Monitoring the progress of planning submissions, coordinating with local authority planners, and attending committee meetings as necessary.
- Providing occasional town planning advice to clients and colleagues on an as-needed basis.
- Staying current with planning legislation relevant to the company's focus areas.
- Maintaining updated knowledge of client-specific procedures and requirements, and offering procedural advice and support to colleagues.
**Town Planner Requirements**:
- Planning related degree (Planning, Environmental, Transport etc)
- RTPI accredited
- 1 year experience in a similar role
- Telecoms experience (beneficial)
