08:00am - 17:00pm Mon - Fri

To assist in the day to day running of the delivery to ensure prompt and on time deliveries to customers and depots based within our Bradford depot.

**Main purpose of the role**

To plan efficient routes, assist in managing drivers and ensuring the fleet is maintained.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Speaking with stakeholders and organising transport while keeping strategy in mind
- Compliance with the safety standards and transport standard operating procedures
- Maintaining the safe and timely delivery of products
- Scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments
- Planning daily transport routes and drivers
- Performing relevant administrative duties
- Complaint handling and processing the urgent ones to senior Management
- Developing and implementing new and improved transport procedures
- Assisting in training new recruits to the department
- Analysing supply chain data and performance
- Maintaining inventory

**Knowledge, skills and experience**

The role requires:

- Experience in the transport department
- Basic knowledge of supply chain
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Knowledge of transport and safety standards
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Quick decision-making ability
- Familiar with GPS and navigation tools
