**Commercial Analyst / Finance Analyst |Manchester (remote working) |£42,000 - £48,000 + extensive suite of benefits**

**The Opportunity**

Commercially focused analytical role for someone studying toward or recently qualified (ACCA or CIMA).

This is a modern, innovative and rapidly expanding group within the green energy / environmental consultancy space.

Your role sits alongside the core finance team and is focused on added value analysis, reporting and planning. You’ll be slicing and dicing key data to deliver meaningful MI that can be used to make real life decisions around how to drive growth.

It’s a chance to really flex your muscles when it comes to bringing fresh reporting and insights to the business - and you’ll be in clear sight of the senior decision makers --- people who will massively value your input and folk who can have a swift impacton the rate of your career progression.

You’ll be involved in creating new dashboards, drilling down into revenue, costs, budgets, forecasts, financial models, business plans

Hands on commercially focused financial analysis - the business will take a genuine and real interest in the insights you can provideit’s a chance to really make a difference and be part of an exciting growth journey.

Great business, private equity backed (brilliantly funded and focused on ongoing international expansion), talented colleagues, varied role, lots of support but bags of autonomy

Hybrid working (most of your time is home based with maybe 1 or 2 days per week in the office).

You need:

- Great analytical skills and a real confidence when using excel to make sense of large volumes of reasonably complex data (generated from all areas of the business).
- To be someone who will enjoy shining a light on what the numbers are telling youwhere money or time can be saved, where profit can be enhanced, where opportunity and growth lives, etc
- CIMA or ACCA (studying toward or recently qualified)
- Ability to work remotely with autonomy but also ability to commute to Manchester weekly / fortnightly.
- Professional and confident communication skills.

It’s a superb role for an ambitious finance analyst / commercial analyst / business analyst. or an assistant management accountant looking to step in this direction (away from month end and toward commercial analysis / FP&A areas).
