**Start date is Monday 26th September, with one day travel to our Banbury office. Then training from 27th for 2 weeks in Wrexham (Travel costs paid for for both commutes). Agents can then work Hybrid between home or Wrexham office.**

**The Role**

The role involves speaking to customers via inbound and outbound, updating and maintaining their records, setting up payment plans and taking payments. Customer satisfaction is key therefore we are looking for individuals with excellent written and oral communication skills who remain calm under pressure. Applicants must be able to show compassion and empathy and build rapport with customers who are in financial difficulty or are particularly vulnerable.

Applicants should ideally be familiar with FCA regulations and **must **have previous experience in a collections role.

**Main Duties**
- Take ownership of queries, escalating through the correct channels when required to ensure customer receives a timely response
- Communicate clearly and effectively with vulnerable customers or customers experiencing financial difficulties, showing empathy and understanding, whilst remaining focused on the customer journey and experience.
- Conduct front-line collection services across an array of product portfolios
- Managing workflow priorities on a case-by-case basis
- Liaise with external debt management companies to provide best placed solutions for supporting the customers’ needs
- Suggest ways for process improvements across the platforms you are utilising, on order to enhance the customer journey both in terms of efficiency and satisfaction

**Requirements of the Role**
- You must currently be residing within the UK (overseas applicants will be declined)
- You must be able to train on site in Wrexham
- Aged 18 or above
- English speaking with good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Computer literate, with basic IT skills.
- Due to the nature of our contracts, a CRB check and credit check will be required once an offer has been accepted.
