**Work Schedule**: Full-time, Monday - Friday
**Salary**: £25,000 - £28,000

We are currently seeking an experienced Billing Administrator to join our team. You will be required to effectively communicate with our Energy Brokers and Customers to build, maintain, and manage effective relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Process Payments**: Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
- **Reconcile Accounts**: Manage account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- **Manage Invoices**: Handle the preparation, issuance, and tracking of invoices.
- **Analyse Energy Consumption**: Monitor and analyse customer energy consumption patterns.
- **Maintain Utility Meter Records**: Ensure records of utility meters are up-to-date and accurate.
- **Communication**: Build and maintain relationships with customers and energy brokers.
- **Meter Readings**: Obtain actual meter readings from customers on time before billing runs.
- **Issue Resolution**: Resolve issues in a timely manner or escalate as appropriate.
- **Liaise with Metering Agents and DNOs**: Work with metering agents and Distribution Network Operators as needed.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Organisational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the energy or property industry.
- **Numeracy**: Good level of numeracy with strong attention to detail.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical skills for data analysis and problem-solving.
- **Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- **Accounting Principles**: Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- **Billing Software**: Experience using billing and invoicing software.
- **Education**: A bachelor's degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, or a related field is typically suitable for this position.
