**Your new company**
We are working exclusively with an independent regulator, who are looking for a Policy Officer to join their education team. This role will be playing an important role within the organisation by actively contributing to their policy workstreams across theorganisation. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, working on upcoming legislative changes.
**Your new role**
- Supporting the development of a portfolio of policy initiatives informed by evidence-based research.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to produce high quality policy guidance to help inform decisions.
- Conduct desk-based research in support of policy development
- Undertake said policy work in a collaborative way with the internal project teams and colleagues.
- Maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.

**What you'll need to succeed**
This position is ideal for someone who is:

- A graduate in Policy, or other related field at either a Master's or Bachelors level
- Some experience of policy work, possessing good professional judgement
- Evidence of preparing and contribution to high-quality policy documents
- Effective research and information gathering skills, including quantitative and qualitative research

**What you'll get in return**
This is a permanent position, paying £28,682 - £31,263/annum. The role is mainly remote, however, if you would like to come into the office, this is also possible. Other benefits include 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, NHS or Private pension and privatemedical insurance.
