Our vision is to be the pioneer in digital relationship banking and be recognised as the best in Europe for using digital technologies to safely and simply service our customers across channels.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content Specialist to join the Service team within Digital Content Optimisation and Testing Centre of Excellence team which is responsible for delivering high-profile content changes to our public and secure websites. This includes our core brands like Lloyds, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and MBNA.

As a Content Specialist, you'll craft and implement changes to our websites. This can range from small content edits to whole journey redesigns. Your goal is to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. You'll need to consider user experience, design principles, brand guidelines, accessibility, copywriting standards and wider business requirements.

All our website changes need to be accurate, compliant and fit for purpose, so attention to detail is important. You'll work collaboratively with business partners and obtain formal approval where vital.

You'll have a deep understanding of Content Management Systems, significant experience of crafting website content and a passion for everything digital

So what will you be doing?
- Delivering timely and accurate changes to the content on our websites.
- Seeing opportunities to improve the web pages that you work on. For example, making the information easier to understand.
- Assessing partner requests and turning them into suitable website updates.
- Making sure our websites align with internal and external standards. For example, brand guidelines, tone of voice, Equality Act 2010, WCAG 2.1 and FCA regulations.
- Providing consultancy services for customer experience, UX, usability and accessibility across the wider business.

The skills and background you'll need:
Essential:

- A real passion for identifying customer needs and coming up with solutions.
- An ability to craft great digital experiences.
- A proven grasp of Content Management Systems, ideally AEM, Teamsite & CWA
- A firm understanding of UX principles.
- A proven track record of writing content for the web.
- Experience of working on multiple priorities in a dynamic delivery environment.
- Keen problem solving skills, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective partner management, adept at establishing and forming relationships with colleagues.

Desirable:

- Experience of using Adobe Experience Manager and Teamsite.
- An understanding of accessibility standards.
- Ability to interpret HTML and CSS.
- Experience of agile methodologies/principles.
- Practical knowledge of search engine optimisation and writing content with this in mind.

So what can we offer you in return?

You'll receive a package that includes:

- Discretionary performance share award
- Private Medical Insurance
- Generous pension contribution
- 28 days leave plus bank holidays
- Flexible benefits

You'll follow our team's hybrid working pattern, typically working a mix of home and office based working. We're happy to consider agile working requests.

We're committed to building a workforce which reflects the diversity of the customers and communities we serve, and to building an inclusive environment where all our colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit.

We're also passionate about diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. And, being disability positive, reasonable adjustments can be accommodated in our Recruitment process, just let us know.

So if you’d like to be part of our inclusive values-based culture, and want to be stretched and fulfilled, we’ll help you build a career that will make a difference to you and our customers.

Together we make it possible

At Lloyds Banking Group, we're driven by a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper. Across the Group, our colleagues are focused on making a difference to customers, businesses and communities. With us you'll have a key role to play in shaping the financial services of the future, whilst the scale and reach of our Group means you'll have many opportunities to learn, grow and develop.
