**Brief Description of the Role**:
We are looking for a committed team player to join the Respiratory/Lung Cancer multidisciplinary team as a Lung Cancer Administrator to support the Lung Health Checks program. Following the success of the current project, which started in 2021, Bradford Teaching Hospitals have been successful in a bid to deliver the programme to a wider patch, covering patients in Bradford and North Kirklees. The programme aims to detect lung cancer early but also has many health promotion aspects.

This fixed term post is integral in ensuring a co-ordinated, smooth and efficient service for patients as they go through the pathway. The role will provide administrative support to the clinicians delivering the program, from dealing with patients’ enquiries, providing secretarial assistance to the clinicians, and assisting with data collection and reporting. The post holder will be a link between Bradford Teaching Hospitals and Mid Yorks NHS FT.

You will be an enthusiastic and conscientious team player. You will be able to work under pressure, have excellent written and verbal skills, excellent planning, time-management and organisational skills, as well as being an innovative thinker and always willing to put forward ideas. You must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues.
