I’m currently working alongside a leading business based in the Kenilworth area with their recruitment of a Payroll Assistant on a permanent basis.

**Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Assistant**:

- Conducting complete payroll processing on a weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly frequency.
- Keeping updated with current payroll legislation, including areas such as National Minimum Wage (NMW), Maternity, Paternity & Adoption, and Salary Sacrifice programs.
- Collaborating with external payroll service providers to address system technical issues promptly and provide necessary feedback.
- Compiling a monthly payroll reporting pack for management, highlighting notable trends.
- Verifying the accuracy of various payroll reports through thorough reconciliation.
- Assuming responsibility for managing your own payroll portfolio, which may vary in size.
- Training will be provided.

**About you as the Payroll Assistant**:

- Prior experience in handling complete Payroll processes.
- Possesses exceptional judgement skills with a keen focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-driven and capable of working autonomously while also being a team player.
- Demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines by taking initiative.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills and can achieve deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in using payroll systems such as Sage 50 Payroll, Xero Payroll, or other similar platforms.
- Previous work experience in a payroll role.
