Deputy Building Services Manager

Advantage Resourcing are working with a leading Research University in London looking for a Deputy Building Services Manager on a 6 Month contract. You will be carrying out all duties involved with the provision of a laboratory and building support function,assist the BSS as a member of the Cruciform and Paul O'Gorman Building Support Services Group, including deliveries, processing of laboratory glassware / waste and assistance with general facilities support.

**What you will be doing**:

- You will receive deliveries and provide a dispatch service.
- Monitor and control deliveries access, car parking and building rear entrance security.
- Accurately check deliveries, identify discrepancies and order originator details.
- To resolve any delivery problems with suppliers and / or staff.
- Prepare deliveries and perform a distribution service.
- To file delivery documentation and enter data onto a computerised purchasing system

**What we are looking for in you**:

- To understand the implications of complying/not complying with health and safety and best practice
- Understanding of Procurement procedures
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Management experience
- Ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people
