**The brief for a 6 month contract**

The Catering Innovation Consultant will be an industry expert who plays a pivotal part in helping us design and launching a food and drink proposition to meet the needs of 10 million+ customers globally - all of whom have a fundamental need for food and drink during the working day.

IWG has a huge appetite to design and implement a market leading, differentiated experience for our customers that will become a key value pillar for our business. Our market research indicates that this captive audience represents a £150m+ business opportunity as well as being a driver of future customer growth, retention and customer satisfaction.

This will be an exciting and fast paced programme with a clear brief to design a new range of market leading F&B services across our global network. The consultant will be an industry expert who can design a compelling proposition at a high level and then build out detailed specifications right down to menu creation by market.

You will be the programme design lead and will play a key support to other functions across the business including operations, fitout, marketing/sales and supply chain to ensure delivery across our network.

We need someone with experience in launching F&B services across a large network or multiple markets taking into account differences in tastes, trends and cultures across the different regions.

**Programme overview**:
To design a range of market leading catering services to differentiate IWG across its global network meeting key KPIs of:

- Revenue growth (ultimate target £150m)
- Customer satisfaction - including across markets where F&B requirements vary
- Customer growth and retention improvement
- Scalable operating model globally

**Experience / required skills**:

- Strong background in food and drink across multiple global marketplaces - including restaurants or corporate catering
- Strong understanding of global food trends including preferences in consumer tastes and presentation
- Creative and innovative approach with experience bringing new formats to life
- Strong commercial skills
- Competent in food safety and food legislation
- Experience in the corporate catering field with experience in a hands-on food production environment
- Experience researching markets and getting direct customer feedback on a large scale
- Direct experience managing complex supply chains
- Proven ability to create and implement programme designs and processes
- Strong skills in managing a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Self-starter, bringing a valuable contribution in leading the new programme with pace and energy
