**Swift Temps** are currently recruiting for **experienced Sewing Machinists** for their client based in the **Pimbo area of Skelmersdale.**

Do you have an interest in Sewing & Textiles and experience on a Sewing Machine in an industrial environment?

The key responsibilities of a Sewing Machinist is to
- Make sewn products that meet specifications
- Checking quality of the products,
- Working efficiently and meeting targets and deadlines.

**Key areas of the role**:

- Operating specialist industrial sewing machines
- Working with a variety of materials, threads and trimmings
- Using a variety of sewing production techniques and methods
- Interpreting and following instruction and technical specifications
- Producing sewn items that meet quality standards, targets and deadlines
- Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations

**Key Skills Required**:

- Experience with flatbed machine is essential and and overlock desirable
- Adaptable to new situations and new ways of working
- Must be able to learn new skills quickly
- Self motivation and pride in their work

The hours of work for this role are **08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday** and **08:00-13:00 on a Friday.**

The pay rate for this role is **£11.44 per hour.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £11.44 per hour
