We are looking for an experienced Freelance R&D Consultant to join our team on a flexible basis. In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, helping them identify, document, and maximise their R&D tax relief claims. **Key Responsibilities**:

- ** R&D Tax Relief Claims**: Identify qualifying R&D activities and prepare detailed, accurate claims for submission to HMRC.
- ** Client Engagement**: Work closely with clients to understand their business operations, research and development activities, and financials.
- ** Documentation and Reporting**: Prepare comprehensive technical reports that accurately describe the R&D projects and expenses.
- ** Advisory Services**: Provide expert advice on R&D tax relief regulations and strategies to maximise client benefits.
- ** Compliance**: Ensure all claims and documentation are compliant with current HMRC guidelines and legislation.
- ** Collaboration**: Liaise with ZLX’s internal teams, including finance and tax experts, to ensure a seamless and efficient claim process for clients.

- Technical knowledge across a variety of sectors, particularly in areas such as technology, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
