Butler Ross have a fantastic Head of Procurement vacancy to join a really exciting and quickly growing company based in their brand new and custom made offices in Hemel Hempstead who also offer hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days at home). This is a brand new role who will be joining a small procurement team which they are hoping to grow with the help of the new Head of Procurement.

Duties of the Head of Procurement
- Developing strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional procurement strategy.
- Leading the end to end procurement of a high number and wide range of categories with combined spend of £150 million to £200 million.
- Management of the current procurement team and managing the recruitment and onboarding of new starters.
- Influence a positive change that aligns procurement with the operational and commercial needs of the business.
- Mitigate possible risk with suppliers and manage delivery successfully.
- Ensure the highest standards are being met through rigorous buying processes to fulfil business needs but meet targets.
- Take pride in ownership of the procurement team to create and drive the strategy and inspire the delivery of a best in class function.

Skills Required for the Head of Procurement
- 5+ years of in procurement management, with experience in a fast growing company and multi category experience.
- Ideally experienced in hospitality, leisure, travel or FMCG.
- Proven experience in team management and growing an excellent team of procurement professionals around you.
- Designing, implementing, and refining processes and policies.
- Previous experince in leading and delivering a programme of change management.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and drive change.

**Salary**: £80,000 - £90,000 + Benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
