**Job Title: Apprentice Content Creator and Team **Assistant**

**Job Location: Hybrid Home & Office location (**London or Birmingham**)**
**Salary**:£21,840 per annum** based on 35 hours per week**
**Contract Type: 18 months Fixed Term Apprenticeship**

Could you as part of our Communications and Advocacy team tells the stories about who we are, what we do, what we believe, and the difference we make to people's lives?

Can you be a key part of the internal communications team?

You’ll use your excellent organisational and writing skills to support the team to deliver brilliant content that inspires and connects our staff and volunteers at the British Red Cross. You’ll act as a key point of contact for our stakeholders as well as supporting the team to run our key communications channels. The role will play an active role in the internal communications and wider Media team.

The post-holder will pursue a Content Creator apprenticeship, level 3 through the British Red Cross Apprenticeship scheme. Apprenticeship training will be delivered by Cambridge Marketing College.

**Apprenticeship**
- Pursue a 18-month Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship
- Commit to spending 20% of contracted hours in off-the-job learning
- Proactively manage time to complete apprenticeship learning
- Regularly share their apprenticeship learning with colleagues
- Participate in the British Red Cross Apprenticeship community

**What will an **Apprentice Content Creator and Team **Assistant's job involve?**
- Look for story leads across the organisation to help connect our people with our vision and cause across the organisation to help connect our people with our vision and cause
- Work with the internal communication officers to create brilliantly designed and written content to use across our channels in our day-to-day communications and campaigns
- Uploading content to our Intranet and Newsletter platforms
- Ensuring data is up to date and correct.
- Complete monthly monitoring report to show how our channels are performing

**What will an **Apprentice Content Creator and Team **Assistant need to be successful?**
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to content and internal communications
- Excellent communication skills across written and verbal communication
- Flexible, can adapt to different tasks quickly
- Confident using Microsoft 365 and able to learn new software
- English GCSE- Level 4 or equivelant
- Have a passion for creative content and storytelling through multimedia
