**Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP) - Temporary**:

As a Recovery and Anaesthetics Practitioner (ODP), you will play a vital role in the care and support of our patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare team, ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to each and every patient.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of anaesthetic equipment and supplies
- Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the anesthesia team
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Assist in the recovery process, monitoring patients' vital signs and administering appropriate treatments
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Adhere to infection control and health and safety protocols
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in the field

**Requirements**:

- Valid registration as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospital setting
- Excellent knowledge of anaesthetic procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required

**Working Hours**:
This temporary position will commence on the 24th of February 2024 and conclude on the same day. The shift will start at 07:30:00 and end at 18:00:00. You will be compensated with a competitive payment rate of £337.05 per shift.
