Our client, a leading engineering consultancy based in Glasgow, is seeking a talented and experienced senior health and safety consultant to join their team.

Within this role you will be expected to travel throughout the UK therefor a full, clean UK driving license is essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company complies with all health and safety regulations and policies, while also working to identify and mitigate any potential risks.

Key responsibilities:

- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans.
- Providing guidance and support to management and employees on health and safety matters.
- Conducting site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
- Ensuring that all accidents and incidents are properly investigated and reported.
- Staying up to date with the latest health and safety legislation and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environmental science, or related field Professional certification in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
