My client is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Financial Controller to join its business.You will be responsible for the financial management of two companies and work closely with the Group Finance Director and, the Managing Directors and CommercialManagers of both companies.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Preparation and production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of weekly cashflows forecasts
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts including inter-company balances and maintenance of fixed asset register
- Managing daily cashflow and making supplier payments
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly CIS returns
- Handling HMRC payments including VAT, PAYE/NI and Corporation Tax
- Managing cash book including posting into accounting system
- Posting of sales invoices into accounting system
- Liaising with company auditors in the preparation of the annual financial statements and manage the audit process
- Managing two Purchase Ledger Clerks

**Skills & Experience**:

- Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Good Excel skills
- Experience of Sage
- Self-motivated
- Hands on
- Strong attention to detail
