**The Role**:
As the Chairperson of Ecosurety, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership, guidance, and strategic oversight to the board of directors. This is an opportunity to challenge and inspire the organisation to deliver on an ambitious growth strategy in an evolving market.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **
Strategic Leadership and Guidance**: Collaborate with the CEO and the board to develop and communicate a clear vision and direction, ensuring alignment with Ecosurety's values and mission.
- ** Effective Governance**: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, maintaining the highest level of governance across the organisation.
- ** Independent and Objective Perspective**: Bring an external perspective to the business, challenging the status quo, and promoting innovative thinking to keep Ecosurety as a thought leader and innovator in a competitive marketplace.
- ** Stakeholder Support**:Provide the appropriate balance of guidance, support, and challenge to the Shareholders, CEO, and the Operational Board, driving optimal performance and outcomes.
- ** Meeting Attendance**:Attend monthly operational Board Meetings (usually a day) and quarterly Legal Board Meetings (usually 1 hour), actively contributing to discussions and decision-making processes.

**Desirable Experience**:

- CEO, Director, or Chairman level experience within a service-based consultancy.
- Non-Executive Director (NED) experience in a purpose-driven, values-led business, preferably a B Corp.
- Proven track record of managing entrepreneurs, private shareholders, and founders.
- Broad business experience across sectors, including recycling, sustainability, data services, and consultancy.
