**Are you looking for occasional work at weekends and have a background working with families and children **? We are recruiting community based Child Contact Supervisors willing to work across Essex to supervise child contact sessions. Travel time and mileage is paid. Full training is given.

The children we work with may be living with a parent, an extended family member or foster carers. Contact services provide children with the opportunity to spend quality time with their parent and/or relative.

We need people able to oversee occasional child contact sessions (typically session length is around 2-3hrs and usually run weekly, every fortnight or monthly ) plus travel to where contact is needed. The role is demand driven so hours may vary from week to week, depending on the number of contact sessions needing covering so we cannot guarantee minimum hours.

This is an employed role on a zero hour contract and you do get to choose which work to accept. An enhanced DBS is required dated within 2 years for child workforce, if you do not have one you will need to pay for a DBS if successful. Car owner essential. Some child transportation to contacts may also be required.

Report writing is needed after sessions so access to a computer is essential as is excellent written and spoken English. We are a social work led, family run company and operate across the UK.

£11-£13 per hr based on day of week worked.
