**Start Date**: ASAP- Faststream are working with a leading independant Bulk Liquid Storage Terminal with sites across the UK. Our client is currently looking for an SHE Supervisor to join their Essex site in the Grays area on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the SHE Manager you will be assisting in the Safety, Health and Environmental presence on the COMAH Terminal. Duties will include:
- Assisting with the development of a positive Health & Safety culture across the terminal and to increase the awareness and understanding of Safety Health and the Environment.
- Ensure the Terminal is operating in accordance with environmental guidelines and targets.
- Create, implement, and monitor environmental strategies to promote sustainable development.
- Ensure that the terminal discharges its obligations under health, safety and environmental Legislation, corporate standards and the UK Health, Safety and Environmental policy.
- Competent, safe, and accurate completion of all allocated tasks is required to maintain the quality performance of the Company.
- To support the Terminal, SHE Manager and SHE Coordinator in their duties as applicable.
- To monitor process safety performance and advise the terminal on requirements with regard to the prevention of major accidents and the safe movement of hazardous products.
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety & Health
- Active involvement in IOSH Continued Personnel Development Programme.
- NVQ Level 3 Management - desirable
- Understanding of Environmental Legislation
