Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Domestic Energy Assessor to join our team. As a Domestic Energy Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting energy assessments and providing recommendations to improve energy efficiency in residential buildings. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainability efforts and help homeowners reduce their carbon footprint.

The ideal must be willing to travel to wales and staying over 2-3 days a week in accommodation paid for by the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct energy assessments in residential properties, evaluating their current energy usage and identifying areas for improvement
- Use specialized equipment and software to measure energy consumption and calculate energy ratings
- Provide homeowners with detailed reports outlining energy-saving recommendations and estimated cost savings
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of energy efficiency and the available government incentives or grants
- Collaborate with contractors or service providers to implement recommended energy-saving measures
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, reports, and client interactions

**Skills**:

- Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate the benefits of energy-saving measures to homeowners
- Strong time management skills to efficiently schedule and complete assessments within designated timeframes
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with clients and prepare comprehensive reports
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Sales skills to promote energy-saving products or services during assessments
- Exceptional customer service skills to build rapport with homeowners and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to various locations for assessments
- Organizational skills to manage assessment schedules, paperwork, and follow-up tasks

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
