**What you will be doing**

As a Stock Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are consistent, ordering new stock if necessary and processing orders. You will own and maintain data within our stock control system, check product codes, produce reports and conduct periodic stock takes. You will be responsible for all goods in and out of our warehouse and ensuring that the warehouse is kept tidy and organised at all times. You will work closely with Finance and Engineering colleagues, play an integral role within the Connexin team and will bring a wealth of proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain key relationships with internal teams and suppliers
- Be responsible for goods in/out activity
- Deal with any damaged deliveries and RMAs as per the pre-defined framework
- Work with business units to determine the minimum and maximum stock quantities required
- Carry out periodic stock takes to ensure that the correct levels of stock are available at all times
- Ensure that the Warehouse is secure, safe and tidy at all times
- Assist with the preparation of kit for engineering jobs
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for all stock systems and processes - providing training for peers where required
- Lead on the identification and delivery of improvements and changes to stock control systems and processes
- Work closely with the Finance team to reconcile any discrepancies with invoices, to support audits, spend allocation to budgets, and to ensure general good account health with suppliers.
- Ensure that all items in the warehouse are booked or signed in/out accordingly
- Coordinate the broker, WEEE and disposal processes for any equipment that is to be written off
- Ensure a good level of document management across all stock-related files
- Work with the wider team to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Support any emergency/on-call procedures by providing pre-prepared on-call kits, access equipment and tools
- Maintain security of the depot, including opening up and/or closing building

**Essential Qualifications**
- Lifting and handling training
- Health and safety, fire Ssfety and COSHH awareness
- Fork-lift qualified

**Essential Experience**
- Must have at least 3 year’s experience in a stock control role
- Experience in procurement, buying, production, and/or stock level monitoring in a warehouse environment would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of IP/TCP, M&E equipment is desirable
- Previous experience in a telecommunications or tech company is desirable
