Allstaff Professional Services Division require a Finance Assistant for our client based in Renfrew. This will be an onsite role for the first 6 months of training and thereafter, hybrid.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 PM

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in using Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective time management abilities

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurate and timely processing of overhead invoices and credit notes, collaborating with departmental managers to ensure accuracy of charges.
- Matching stock invoices with goods received notes for processing.
- Daily processing of stock invoices and credit notes, emphasizing input accuracy.
- Reporting pricing and delivery discrepancies to the buying department and suppliers on a daily basis.
- Reconciling monthly statements, investigating and addressing discrepancies by coordinating with suppliers and relevant internal departments.
- Generating and processing BACS payments to uphold agreed-upon supplier payment terms and maximize settlement discounts.
- Opening and maintaining supplier accounts while conducting due diligence checks consistent with company and legislative standards.
- Maintaining records in adherence to departmental procedures, including document scanning and filing.
- Professional and timely liaison with internal departments and suppliers to uphold positive working relationships.
