Dog Walker/pet Sitter

Harris Paws are a professional pet care company established since 2015.

We specialise in one to one dog walking and dedicated pet care, providing a unique experience to the animals we take are of and their owners, by getting to know their animals and adjusting our service to suit their needs.

The dog walking/pet care position is to support our other dog walkers in delivering our walking services and pet care services in Shepton Mallet and surrounding areas.

We are looking for an individual that has experience within the dog industry, any relevant qualification. The work available requires a flexible schedule with availability on weekdays particularly lunchtimes.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Must reside or be happy to travel within Shepton Mallet
- Must have reliable transportation. This must be large enough to transport dogs.
- Must be confident handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages.
- Must have experience working with dogs
- not just owning them
- Interact with the public within a professional manner.
- Be self-motivated.

A strong work ethic and drive, reliable, be honest and most importantly, a passion for people and dogs, be willing to undertake a CRB check.

Part-time: Minimum 3 hours per week with view to increase hours as workload increases. Hours will be between 11am-14:30, there is an opportunity to work longer hours if desired and once training is completed.

Expected start date: to be discussed at interview.

**Salary**: Dependant on age and experience, pay is offered per walk/visit, travel allowance is also available
