**£26,000 to £28,000 basic salary**

**Knowsley**

**Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm**

A well-established manufacturer in Knowsley are seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, the main duties of the role will be to create and issue weekly manufacturing capacity and planning reports, updating schedules with new orders, and issuing manufacturing packs. On offer is a basic salary of £26,000 to £28,000 and hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (1:00pm Friday).

**Please note this is an office-based position.**

The main duties of a Production Planner are:

- Create and issue weekly manufacturing resource planning, capacity planning reports and production schedules- Prepare and issue weekly manufacturing packs to key stakeholders, identify missing documentation and follow through to completion- Manage and complete works orders on the MRP system- Prepare schedule for sub-contract activities- Identify and resolve any issues with the MRP - missing work orders, routings and/or timings- Manage and resolve negative stock on the MRP- Maintain accurate completion of the MPS- Develop and improve existing planning tools to support continued growth- Issue manufacturing KPI reports- Booking goods in- Ensure quality management system is up to date and correct- You must come from a planning background within manufacturing/production- Have a good understanding of work order/manufacturing planning systems- A good knowledge of Excel
