As a Production Operator, you are expected to:

- Carry out all the duties or activities as required or requested by the company, ensuring that the day to day operational requirements are met in all areas. The requirements are to be carried out in the areas of the company that you have been trained to operate in, this is in accordance to the training that you have received as per the company’s procedures, and that all tasks are completed to the company’s satisfaction.

Duties to include:

- Perform assembly of materials/products into product cartons.
- Complete pre-assembly work of stocking assembly.
- Set up and use equipment specific to the work being carried out.
- Work closely with the Production Manager or Supervisor, assisting with all aspects of manufacturing, production and operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Maintain records, replenish stock, and plan for future requirements based on orders, production schedules and forecasts.
- Ensure shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are performed in an efficient manner.
- Follow oral and written instructions to complete production assignments, working within set guidelines, meeting targets, goals and achieving deadlines.
- Take the necessary precautions to protect materials, equipment, and warehouse contents against loss.
- Oversee all H&S aspects within the field of work and, as with all employees to action correction of H&S issues whilst always informing the Managing Director.
- Keep and maintain records as per the ISO systems, logging all appropriate actions and notify the relevant people.

As an employee, you are also expected to:

- Suggest improvements to production activities, procedures, and acts to improve timeliness or reduce costs with the assistance of the team.
- Recognise and solve problems affecting production including schedules, staff, quality, and order of production runs.
- Be responsible for maintaining the expected standards on product quality and tasks required.
- Use initiative on instances within the overall purpose of the company ethos.
- Motivate and create a conducive working environment.
- Continually find improvement in efficiency where feasible.
- Be flexible in working procedures in accordance with the needs of the company and the required day-day adjustments required by the changing circumstances.

**Salary**: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
