**Salary: Up to £30,000 (full time equivalent)**
**Location: Morley, West Yorkshire**
**Type: Full or Part Time Available, Permanent**
2fawcett are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer for a company located in Morley, West Yorkshire. You will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for processing the payroll for 4 companies in the group.
**Responsibilities of the Payroll Officer**:
- Calculating wages and salaries
- Recording payroll using Sage 50 payroll
- Calculate overtime, salary increases, shift payments
- Process holiday, maternity/paternity, bonus, sick and other pay
- Prepare forms such as P45, P60, P11d
- Set up new starters and leavers
- Resolve issues relating to pay, payslips and timesheets
- Tax and national insurance deductions
- Issuing employees wages using electronic transfer
- Pension reconciliations
- Submitting payroll information to HMRC
- Payroll year end processes
- Prepare weekly and monthly payroll journals
**Key Requirements of the Payroll Officer**:
- Sage 50 payroll experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
**Working hours**:
- Full or part time hours are available
- Monday and Tuesday are non-negotiable (payroll days)
- Standard hours are 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
**Salary**: Up to £30,000.00 per year
