**Background**:
Waters Transport & Removals are a highly reputable, growing home removal company based in Stafford. We are a small family run business committed to delivering 5* service for domestic & corporate clients requiring removals and / or storage.
We are looking for an administrative assistant to act as 'PA' to the business owner during maternity period. Initially, we are looking for someone to work 8-12 hours across 2 days between Monday - Friday. Days and timings can be flexible but Wednesday is essential. Would lend itself to someone trying to work around school / nursery hours.
**Duties**:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Assist with job coordination, including communicating with team members and outside contractors
- Managing stock levels
- Visiting clients at home to complete quotes
- Prepare, send and follow up on quotes & testimonials
- Some basic book keeping - file and organize documents and records in both physical and electronic formats
- Perform proofreading and editing tasks to ensure accuracy of quotes and other documents
- Act as a personal assistant to the business owner, handling various tasks such as making travel arrangements, managing expenses, and organizing meetings and your own workload
- Dedicating yourself to maintaining reputable communication & service
- Partake in weekly networking conferences which involves some public speaking and relationship building
**Requirements**:
- Proficiency in using Google Suite
- A full, clean UK driving license. Applicant will be required to use their own vehicle to visit clients in order to complete quotes
- Competent on Whatsapp video calls, in order to complete virtual quotes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail for proofreading, editing tasks and note taking
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Strong and quick communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Flexibility to work more hours during busy periods, if required
- A good attitude towards being asked to do 'out of the norm' tasks when required
