Reputable Telco firm looking for 2 DevOps Engineers to assist on a migration project from AWS onto GCP.
**Your new role**
There is a requirement for 2 DevOps Engineers, must have GCP, would consider AWS, BUT huge preference to have GCP. Project is for AWS to GCP migration.
The Cloud DevOps Engineer works in the Cloud CoE team and delivers the automation of Cloud Infrastructure services.
The essential duties and responsibilities are as follows
- Collaborate with different teams to improve the integration and release process.
- Standardise and Simplify the CI/CD practices with governance and security.
- Develop, Maintain and Optimise the CI/CD pipelines.
- Be a team player by being open to knowledge sharing and collaborative working.
- Strong experience in Python programming.**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Experienced in building and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experienced in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Nexus or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Experienced in using Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring.
- Experienced in creating and managing K8's cluster using automation. - Experienced in configuring Google Cloud network services
- Google Cloud VPC resources (CIDR range, subnets, firewall rules, etc.), Configuring NAT.
- Knowledge in managing and monitoring network operations.
