We are looking for a Green Hydrogen Specialist to join our team, giving you the opportunity to co-create on some of the most prestigious energy programmes in the UK.

**On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for**:
Providing high-quality technical leadership across a range of current projects assigned to you, and internal expertise into others as required
Assisting to grow, mentor, and develop engineering staff in hydrogen engineering, including developing and delivering training, undertaking knowledge-sharing activities, and supporting succession planning in your area
Working closely with and supporting our UK based and international colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service offering across our projects
Promoting our position as an innovator in the UK through involvement in relevant industry bodies, technical publications, and facilitating the same in others
Technical approval of designs, checking or assessment deliverables on your projects in accordance with internal management systems
Supporting pursuit of relevant business development opportunities, developing client relationships and input into bids and tenders as required
Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with clients, business partners, stakeholders, and authorities

**Furthermore, you'll have**:
A degree in Engineering accompanied by relevant experience in green hydrogen engineering projects within the Energy sectors
Have proven experience in a similar role with technical management responsibilities working on major hydrogen projects in the UK or internationally
Have significant experience in designing hydrogen projects during all project phases, from conceptual design to detailed design, for contractors or as client's consultant
Be an accomplished talent developer, with demonstrable ability to support, mentor and develop less experienced engineers
Experience of supervising complex and cross-organizational initiatives and develop cooperative relationships with project managers and client stakeholders
Have the inter-personal skills and aptitude to work collaboratively in a diverse multi-disciplinary team
An ability to participate in proposal development, evaluate business risk and support business development activities
Have a professional network within the industry
Finally, you’ll be an innovative and critical thinking, with great communication and problem-solving skill
