The Salvation Army provides support and accommodation for homeless adults within the South Lanarkshire area. We are looking to recruit a Night Assistant Support Worker to join our team in Halfway, Eva Burrows 1st Stop Lifehouse. The Salvation Army provides support and accommodation for homeless adults within the Lanarkshire Area.

**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for assisting and delivering a high quality programme of support and meaningful activities. You will need good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with vulnerable, homeless adults.
- Motivation towards supporting vulnerable clients to achieve focussed and positive life outcomes.
- Knowledge of Crisis Intervention.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative, sector-leading and uniquely collaborative way of working with our partners. To succeed you will need to have the ability to work independently and be comfortable as a lone worker, when required, with a good knowledge of the relevant protocols and safety precautions. You’ll be able to maintain passion for working with individuals who have had to flee their own home.
- Qualification or equivalent in a related field or be willing to work towards
- Experience of working with vulnerable clients in this field
- Knowledge and understanding of supported housing funding streams and reporting requirements
- And PVG scheme disclosure check. All new employees have to register with SSSC within 6 months of appointment.
