The Adecco Public Sector team have been engaged to source for a **Commercial Manager** to work on an interim basis with a government department. This is a 6 month contract, paying £385 -£450 per day, inside IR35. The client operates using ahybrid model, and you would be expected to be onsite at eiter the Milton Keynes or Melton Mowbray site once a week or every couple of weeks.

**Location: Hybrid and 2test sites at Melton Mowbray -LE14 3JL once every couple of weeks and Tuxford Leicestershire - NG22 0NL Train travel, hire car or claim mileage
Start date: ASAP**

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to be part of Network Rail's, Rail Innovation Development Centres (RIDC) team in Route Services. You will be a critical member of a team that are at the forefront of promoting technology and innovationin rollingstock, infrastructure, telecoms, electrical power distribution and much more.
- Rail -preferred but not essential
- Highways, TFL, or other industries considered
- Commercial Management
- Management of contract suppliers
- Negotiation skills
- Verbal & communication
- Understanding of customer contracts
- Supply chain management
- Understanding of profit & loss accounts in a commercial environment
- Understanding of tender/procurement - useful
- Approving invoices

RIDC is completely self-financing and in this critical role you will lead and provide support to RIDC's contract management and customer focused commercial activities, along with supporting day-to-day operations, maintenance, renewals and project based work
