Senior Administration and Office Support Assistant

We are a well-established law firm situated in Glasgow City Centre with around 35 staff members. We specialise is property and legal services for businesses and individuals.
We seek an individual who is confident in their ability to provide and coordinate administrative and office support within our team. Some reception duties such as answering the telephone and welcoming clients will also be required when our full-time receptionist is having lunch or is absent.
Direct experience of the legal industry is not a requirement. We appreciate that skills are transferable. An ability and desire to execute work to a high standard, learn quickly and employ common sense will be preferred over direct legal experience.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the smooth running of administrative services to colleagues;
- Following instructions to produce hard copy documentation for team members working remotely;
- File management using our case management system;
- Responsibility for collection/delivery of DX/Royal Mail/urgent deliveries;
- Complying with firm-wide policy and regulatory/statutory requirements;
- Carrying out all other general clerical and office tasks as required;
- Reception cover as above.
This role is suitable for someone looking to develop their career in office administration and is not suitable for law graduates seeking legal experience.
There is a company pension scheme after 3 months employment.
Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
This is a full-time office-based role.
