Dual Licence Day Corporate Security Officer

We are looking for experienced Security Officers to work within an Multi tenanted building within Sutton on a permanent basis. We are required to cover Monday through to Sunday day shifts, this will include weekends. The shifts will be a total of 12 hours based on a 4 or 4 off shift pettern. You will be required to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness. You will also be required to work Bank Holidays; this includes the Christmas period if your scheduled shifts fall on these days.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Managing the main reception desk in a concierge style manner offering a welcoming and professional first point of contact for tenant’s visitors, and contractors.
- You will be required to meet and greet all visitors that enter the building.
- Controlling access to the building by residents, students, employees, visitors and contractors for goods and services.
- Monitoring CCTV and responding to any suspicious activity. Using the playback function and downloading CCTV as required.
- Control of deliveries and courier management
- Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site.
- Complete various security documentation, including fully legible report writing following any incident.
- Reporting any faults with the security and fire protection systems to the client
- Liaise with management effectively and efficiently.
- Dealing with any emergency situations that may occur and the relevant emergency service, including following the lift rescue procedures
- Implementing the Business Continuity Plan.
- Office consumables replenishment
- Conduct regular site patrols and report findings to the relevant person with a particular focus on any health, safety or maintenance matters.
- Monitor & respond to alarm activations.
- Issuing fobs and carrying out periodic spot checks as directed.
- Key management.
- Vehicle control
- Safe receipt and sorting of all mail and post
- Safe handling/recovery of lost property.

**Core Competencies**
- Knowledge and experience of alarms systems and monitoring.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Smart, presentable and client facing.
- Enthusiasm for the role.
- Professional attitude.
- CCTV valid license.
- Dealing with visitors
- Dealing with contractors and permit to work.
- High profile event security experience.
- Basic First Aid

Pay: £13.15 per hour
