**SIP Projects Lead & HSSE Advisor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

**Reporting to the UK Head of HSSEQ**

**Based in**: Wilton

**Position overview**:
The role is a fixed term contract position. The purpose of the role is to support the implementation of SEUKs Safety Improvement Plan (SIP), which consists of a number of projects centred around EHS performance enhancement within key areas.

**Key capabilities/knowledge**:
**Analytical Skills**
- Project management and / or managing HSE improvement programmes.
- Skilled in oral and written communication and presentation skills. Capable of clearly stating and presenting facts in a way that facilitates comprehension and engagement.
- Details orientated and capable of analysing processes to identify opportunities for performance enhancement.

**Leadership**
- Capable of leading project team members and motivating others to participate and facilitate change initiatives.
- Capable of effectively prioritising work and allocating and delegating tasks / responsibilities as required.

**Communication, Negotiation & Influencing**
- Capable of adapting language and content to suit situation and audience.
- Capable of presenting information and advice in an impactful manner.
- Effective at building relationships across all levels of the organisation to ensure that sustainable change initiatives are successfully implemented.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Proven health & safety experience in creating pragmatic processes aligned to organisational needs.
- A NEBOSH diploma (or equivalent) in Health and Safety.
- A strong technical knowledge across all health and safety legislation / areas of practice, with an in-depth knowledge of PUWER, LOLER, Fire Safety, Confined Spaces Safety, Manual Handling, Permit-to-Work Processes.
- Extensive knowledge of the requirements of ISO45001, and experience designing processes to meet these requirements.
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging with stakeholder to facilitate project success.
- Excellent IT Skills (extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Formal project management qualification - highly desirable.
- Formal change management qualification - highly desirable.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
