We are constructing a state-of-the-art underground mine to enable the extraction of Polyhalite - a unique multi-nutrient fertiliser - along with the necessary infrastructure both above and below ground that will be required for transport, processing, and distribution.

POLY4 is our flagship multi-nutrient fertiliser product. Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximize their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.

**Job Description**:

- Join us for a Surveying Student Summer Placement where you will support the surveying team, whilst gaining hands on experience in your field of study, and preparing yourself for graduate employment.

Key Accountabilities:

- Setup and operate RTK GNSS Base and Rover in line with company guidelines and industry good practice
- Setup and operate Static GNSS Campaign as well as Post Process Static GNSS data.
- Ground control surveying for Aerial Drone Surveying
- Learn about the operation and use of drone surveying conducted on the project and support on survey planning and risk assessment
- Post processing of drone data and the provision of survey deliverables
- Support AA survey team in the maintenance and checking on project Primary survey control network using project Total Station and reduced levelling with Precise Level
- Subsidence Monitoring
- Learn how the project working model is maintained in the company GIS. Add and update the model using GNSS surveyed information and As-built CAD data supplied by onsite contractors
- Setup and operate project laser scanners
- Process and register laser scan data.

- Be currently studying toward a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Surveying, Geospatial Sciences or equivalent discipline.
- Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
- Demonstrate drive, ambition and a passion for challenging work
- Be a flexible and innovative self-starter who's passionate about developing skills
- Additional Information
- A valid UK country driving license is required for this role
- This role may require a company medical assessment in line with the role requirements.
