**Job Purpose**

To supervise the provision of a timely and reliable retail Catering services as required throughout the restaurant and deliver the best service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills and expertise to ensure that our department meets all contractual obligations and business objectives.

As Retail catering supervisor you will play a crucial role in supporting the Catering Manager to deliver high quality food and beverage services to our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise the Catering team effectively
- Ensure retail catering outlets are operating correctly and ensuring a good level of customer service has been provided by the team.
- Support the Catering Manager with changing business demands.
- Hold performance reviews with new starters and existing staff.
- Carry out return to work interviews for staff that have been absent.
- Ensure required data is recorded including fridge and food temperature taken and sales data.
- Coach and support team with any training or day to day issues that may arise.
- Complete audits whilst also achieving the service and product delivery standard
- Previous experience in retail supervising the Retail catering teams, completing rotas & performance reviews.
- Serving food to correct portion control outlined in agreed standards.
- Visual Merchandising
- Undertake any other duties that may be required for the effective operation of the Catering establishment, including cash collection and banking.
- Provide outstanding customer service through regular communication with customers, managers, and other team members.
- Undertake accurate and timely stock taking, reconciliation of money and invoices.
- Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
- Possess good IT skills, fully competent in Microsoft Office
- Working as a part of the team in the restaurant or coffee shop serving foods and drinks and maintaining cleanliness environment.

**Knowledge Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Food Safety Level 2
- Ability to read, write and converse clearly in English.
- Basic awareness of Health & Safety working practices.
- Customer service skills essential
