Peterhouse is a non-maintained Specialist School for pupils with Autism aged 5-19 in Southport.
Peterhouse School has a holistic approach that aims to meet the academic, social, emotional and physical needs of our learners, providing them with the tools and strategies to become a successful autistic adult. Positive and effective working relationships with parents are therefore essential to our culture. Our high-quality provision is led by our expert teaching staff but is created collaboratively with parents, carers, therapists and other professionals and specialists as needed.
We seek to extend our Family Support Team, to further enhance the work we do with parents and families. This includes offering events, training, home visits, advice, signposting to other services and offering practical support with a range of issues. The Family Support Team act as a point of contact for parents and are essential in building relationships with parents and other school staff.
