Job Summary

Moog Space and Defence Group are looking for a Finance Administrator to join the team. Within this role you will ensure that sales and purchase invoices are processed efficiently, that payment is collected from customers and that suppliers are paid regularly.

Key responsibilities
- Maintenance of Sales Ledger and collection of Accounts Receivable
- Maintenance of Purchase Ledger - Input of Supplier invoices, resolution of queries and preparing Supplier payments.
- Cashiering duties
- Maintenance and reconciliation of Intercompany balances.
- LN system processing.
- Preparation & submission of VAT.
- Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts Pack.

Key skills
- AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) - Preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of LN an advantage but not essential.
- Experienced in using computerised Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & General Ledger packages and with basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a similar Finance department.
- Intermediate level user of Excel.
- Ability to liaise with staff from all levels within the business and with external customers and suppliers.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn are essential
- Study support is available for those wishing to undertake a professional accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA or CIMA)
