Press Brake Operator

DC personnel are currently looking to hire a Press Brake Operator or Setter for our client based in Wigston, Leicester LE18
Working hours are: Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm and 1pm - 8pm on Fridays.
Overtime is optional and available during the week and at weekends and paid at 1.5x basic rate
Pay rate is: £13 an hour (£12p/hr plus £1 shift allowance)
The role will be starting in the new year.
Main Tasks
Operate Brake Press: including machine set-up, selecting tooling, safety checks. Machine programming - training can be provided.
Use of various hand tools and sheet metal machinery in the fabrication and finishing of materials (training will be provided).
Executing works orders to the required specified quality, accuracy and defined output rate.
Quality Assurance of components and finished goods by inspection of own work and others. Completion of associated documentation.
Maintain working area to a high level of housekeeping.
Knowledge & Skills
Operating a Brake Press.
Good level of numeracy.
Able to read technical drawings and perform measurements.
Basic computer skills.
Workshop and production health & safety practices.
