Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our Sunderland based automotive client in their search for a Machine Leader on a permanent basis. Our client is a global leading supplier in the automotive sector, with roughly 50,000 employees spread throughout the world.

As a machine leader, applicants will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery and related tools and equipment in their designated areas

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Assure achievement of targets, in line with quality efficiency and safety
- Work according to processes procedures and instructions
- Identify unsafe acts and practices
- Carry our routine safety checks and PUWER assessments
- Planned, predictive and preventative maintenance, ensuring machines are maintained at optimum efficiency and productivity
- Continuous improvement, providing ideas for improvement and enhancing processes
- Quality control, providing inspection reports and quality performance reviews

**Requirements**:

- Strong problem solving skills
- Good planning and analytical skills
- Forward thinking, continuously looking for areas of improvement
- Technical understanding
- Experience with manufacturing processes

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £32,500.00-£39,500.00 per year
