**Payroll Administrator**

Scobie & Junor have been supplying into the food industry for over 100 years. With a strong history of growth and innovation, the Scobie & Junor Group now manufacturers and/or supplies several product categories including flexible packaging, manufacturing machinery, netting, twine, and blended ingredients to some of the top names in the industry.

**The Role**:
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at our head office in East Kilbride for a Payroll Administrator. You will join us on a permanent basis working part time Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 2.30pm. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established family business.

**Main duties**:

- Check and approve digital pay grid for each department on T & A system
- Raise any exceptions/queries with department manager
- Monitor AWOL report and update Who’s Off leave system
- Report persistent lateness to dept manager/HR
- Process both monthly and weekly payrolls for 200 employees across 4 sites
- Process all new starters and leavers through the payroll and Who’s Off systems
- Process all adjustments, bonuses, sickness, secondments etc.
- Generate management reports for Finance and external Auditors
- Maintain accurate employee records on both the HR and Payroll systems
- Deal with payroll related enquiries
- Update shift changes on the HR database
- Process payroll journals
- Process year end
- Process employee P60’s
- Support the Group HR Manager with admin

**Skills**:

- 5 Year’s payroll experience
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
- Ability to analyse data from T & A system and identify errors
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills to be able to interact with directors, managers and employees across 4 sites
- Highly proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in using ADP expert

Salary FTE £27,500 40hrs pro-rated to part time 25hrs

**Salary**: Up to £27,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week
