Junior Electrical Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Ayrshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or junior levelled electrical engineer to join an expanding team within the engineering industry.
**Junior Electrical EngineerPosition Overview**
- Development and execution of electrical/electronic designs and features to meet technical, functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with customers to detail and record functional requirements to prepare for electrical design.
- Create build ready design documentation specific to customer requirements using company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate within the Electrical Design Team and communicate with cross-functional teams to develop sub-assemblies and systems.
- Participate in construction of test units and prototypes.
- Working with in-house Electrical CAD Software
- E3 Zuken. Training will be given.
- Analyse operational and testing data to troubleshoot and resolve system problems
- internal and external.
- New product integration.
**Junior Electrical EngineerPosition Requirements**
- HNC Electrical Engineering OR, Demonstrated experience in an electrical discipline, e.g. Completed Apprenticeship in Engineering/Technician.
- Knowledge of Network Communication protocols (CANbus, J1939, LIN, etc.), is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to compare daily engineering tasks with the effect on whole project.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft 365.
- Willingness to learn and develop company internal management procedures and processes.
- Based within a commutable distance of Ayrshire.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
**Junior Electrical EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary - £20,000 to £25,000 - dependent upon experience.
- Flexible working pattern with the option of a 4-day workweek.
- Flexible holiday package (31 days - including bank holidays).
